The Oncomine Comprehensive Assay Plus is a targeted, next-generation sequencing (NGS) assay that provides a comprehensive genomic profiling solution appropriate for formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissues from solid tumors. The assay detects multiple biomarkers associated with targeted and immune checkpoint therapies for cancer research. It allows concurrent analysis of DNA and RNA to simultaneously detect multiple types of variants in a single workflow, including single nucleotide variants (SNVs), insertions and deletions (InDels), copy number variants (CNVs), BRCA1 and BRCA2 large genomic rearrangements (LGRs), genomic instability metric (GIM), microsatellite instability (MSI), and tumor mutational burden (TMB), loss-of-heterozygosity (LOH), and gene fusions featuring FusionSync.
